Apple to open Frankfurt Apple Store on January 23rd

Store unusually delayed
Apple will open a new store in Frankfurt, Germany this Saturday, January 23rd. The shop is located at 30 Große Bockenheimer Straße, and will launch at 11AM local time. Regular hours will run from 10AM to 8PM Monday through Wednesday, and extend to 9PM Thursday through Saturday. The first workshops are scheduled for next Monday, focusing on iMovie, iDVD and GarageBand.
The store will be Apple's third in Germany, following ones in Munich and Hamburg. It is also an unusual example of a delay for the company, as the outlet was originally set to premiere on December 5th, in time for holiday sales. Apple has never provided a serious explanation, only posting the phrase "we're putting the finishing touches on the final touches" to the web when announcing the date change.
