updated 09:50 pm EST, Tue January 12, 2010

Media hub driven by Flash Lite menu system

Popcorn Hour has introduced its latest media device, the A-200 Networked Media Tank. The Tank allows users to stream digital content from a wide variety of devices such as computers, network-attached storage, digital cameras, or USB-attached storage. The Flash Lite interface also provides options to stream web-based content from sites such as Videocast, CBS, and CNN, among others.

An internal bay supports both 2.5- and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives, while USB ports are available for external drives. A large range of video and audio standards can be played on the system, including MKV HD and Dolby.

The basic A-200 ships for $179, with network connection enabled via Gigabit Ethernet. Customers can also purchase a package with a WN-150 Wi-Fi attachment, bringing the price up to $199. The company will begin taking pre-orders on January 18th. [via Engadget]
