New iPhone and BlackBerry cases
Speck has unveiled a wide range of new and improved accessories for notebook computers and mobile phones. The company has updated its CandyShell cases for the iPhone 3G and 3GS, bringing seven new color combinations such as GuavaGoo Pink and Nightshade Purple, while eight new designs are available in the Fitted series of hard-shell cases. The SeeThru Satin cases, which were previously released for MacBooks, are also available for the iPhone 3G and 3GS.
New Fitted ArtsProject Limited Edition iPhone cases were display last week at CES. One of the cases in the line will be designed and created by artist Jim Mahfood, with shipping expected soon. Other new cases for mobile phones include the SeeThruu, Fitted and PixelSkin cases for the BlackBerry Storm2 9550, Bold2 9700, Tour 9630 and Curve 8520 models.
Four new series of notebook bags were introduced at the show, including a revamped version of the TuckPack Notebook Carrying Sleeve designed to fit 13- and 15-inch laptops. Another CorePack Fly messenger bag is available, along with new designs for the PortPack Notebook shoulder bag and Corepack Notebook messenger bag.
For additional protection of Apple notebooks, Speck is offering its SeeThru and SeeThru Satin form-fitting shell cases for Apple’s new 13-inch white unibody MacBook.
Apart from the phone and computer accessories, Speck has introduced new DustJacket folio covers for the Kindle 2 e-book reader. DustJacket is designed to protect the Kindle 2 from bumps during daily travel, while doubling as a reading stand when set on a flat surface. It features a custom-fit snap-in cradle to hold the device in place, along with a micro-fleece interior lining to prevent scratches.
