Re-designed interface with new features
AppZapper.com has launched a major upgrade to its software-removal application; it has been optimized for Mac OS X Snow Leopard OS. AppZapper 2.0 features a re-designed user-interface, but still offers the drag and drop functionality provided in the original version. A new “Hit List” function is used for removing unwanted applications and allows users to visually search and scroll through all the apps on their computer.
Other changes include a My Apps feature, that is designed to take all apps purchased by the user and display them in a trading-card style collection. To create a card users simply drag an individual app into My Apps, which can then be organized and sorted through. By clicking on the card users can also add information such as purchase and license info.
AppZapper requires Mac OS X 10.6.2 or higher and is available directly from the company’s website for $13.
