Everyplay syncs with iTunes library
Snarb.tk has released Everplay, a new stand-alone media player that syncs with iTunes. Everplay is designed to merge with the iTunes music library, while also providing access to LastFM web and radio services. The app is the company’s first release following its iTunes controller Cover Stream, and offers a light-colored interface. Also included is a song queuing feature for creating and managing playlists, which can consist of selected songs, albums, or both.
Other features include fully customizable hot keys for controlling playback, a mini-controller that’s displayed on the desktop, and a search function for finding songs. Support is also offered for Apple Remote and Growl.
With the added LastFM web and radio service support users can add music to a playlist, ban songs, and post “now playing” updates to Last FM. Songs can be shared with other users via e-mail or PM, and events can be added to iCal for future reference.
Everplay requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and iTunes 7.5 or later. It’s currently available as a single user license priced at $20 or an extended family license which costs $35; there is a 50 percent discount for registered users of Cover Stream.
