MSI to show 3D notebook, dual-screen e-reader at CES

MSI reader may use NVIDIA Tegra

Taiwanese PC maker MSI is rumored to demonstrate a 3D notebook along with a dual-screen e-book reader at this week's CES show in Las Vegas. According to a Monday Digitimes report, the e-book reader will use NVIDIA's Tegra processor, and will be shown alongside a single-screen model as well. No information regarding an MSI notebook with a 3D display is known, however.

The e-book reader was first talked about in October, and thanks to the relatively powerful Tegra processor, is expected not to use an e-paper display like most other e-book devices. This likely means a more conventional touchscreen will be adopted and could allow for 720p playback or other advanced graphics.
