64GB and 32GB RAM upgrades
Memory America has launched 1066MHz DDR3 RAM expansion kits in 32GB and 64GB capacities for Apple’s Mac Pro. The 64GB kit is arranged using eight individual 8GB modules geared for 64-bit operation, with support for data rates of up to 8.5GB/s. The components are RoHS certified and claimed to be compatible with all Mac Pro specifications.
Keeping in line with hardware upgrades, OWC is offering 1066MHz DDR3 ECC memory upgrade kits, ranging from 12GB to 32GB, for the latest Mac Pro Quad-Core and 8-Core models. Customers can choose from a wide range of module configurations such as 3 x 8GB, 4 x 8GB, 6 x 4GB and 8 x 4GB, among others.
OWC provides a guide that helps match the supported memory with each Mac Pro variant, as well as a do-it-yourself video to help with installation.
Both of Memory America’s kits can be found on their online site and are priced at $3,100.00 for the 64GB package and $1,600.00 for the 32GB bundle. The OWC memory upgrade kits range from 12GB to 32GB and vary in cost, starting as low as $470 and going as high as $2,100.00.

Pretty good prices
That sounds like good prices, since 8GB from Apple was like $1000 or something.
