LogMeIn launches Pro2 for Mac beta

updated 03:05 pm EST, Thu December 17, 2009

Supports printing, file transfer

LogMeIn has officially launched the Mac beta of LogMeIn Pro2. The service lets people remotely connect to a Mac from any Mac or Windows machine. Users can remotely control a system, print out documents, and share and transfer files.

The developer is seeking feedback from beta participants, and offering code updates as the service progresses towards a final release. Registration is required in order to download necessary software and run a remote session.

No requirements are listed for Pro2, but a more basic version of the service requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. Pro2 is free in beta form, but will likely cost $65 per year if it follows its PC equivalent.
