Projector 2 adds 64-bit support, new cost options

New version has improved interface, cost options

app4mac has updated its project management software, Projector. The Snow Leopard-ready software tracks tasks and calculates costs, with support for scheduling and time tracking. Users can also print reports or convert data into Gantt charts. Version 2.0 has been completely rewritten in Objective C 2.0 for 64-bit optimized performance.

The new engine in v2 provides high performance on all projects, including very large tasks. The interface has also been redesigned with improvements to process and resource management, while users can now take advantage of a utility dedicated for to-do tasks. The update offers new cost options such as hours, days and global choices.

Projector 2 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher, including Snow Leopard. It is available for an introductory price of 49 (~$75 USD) through the end of December.
