Also adds tax editor, split transactions

Maxprog has released iCash 6, an update to its financial utility. The software provides accounting functions for individuals and small businesses, tracking income, expenses and banking transactions. It supports multiple accounts and currencies, and unlimited categories. Other features include budgeting, automatic backup and transfers between Macs and PCs.

Version 6 adds support for importing bank statements. Also new are split transactions, and transaction attachments, namely Word, Excel, PDF and picture files. The transaction scheduler has been given preview and chart functions. A tax editor and four new reports have also been added, the latter including monthly, quarterly, annual and semi-annual options. Over a dozen smaller enhancements have been made.

iCash 6 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or higher. The software can be downloaded for $40.
