iFinance for iPhone syncs with Mac

Synium Software has unveiled an update to its financial management software, iFinance 3.1, along with a complementary app for the iPhone and iPod touch. The desktop utility integrates a new database manager with improved performance, password protection, and a reconcile feature for comparing billing with debiting. The software enables users to create multiple databases, separating personal content from company business.

The iPhone app synchronizes data with the desktop software via Wi-Fi. The mobile utility features support for multiple databases, automated retrieval of exchange rates, and up to 30 international currencies. Users can instantly record expenses, password-protect the databases, or access overviews of financial information.

iFinance 3.1 requires Max OS X 10.5 or higher and is a free upgrade to all licensed owners, while the iPhone version is available for download from the App Store for $2.
