Hints at investor confidence
Apple has garnered the best investor sentiment for November amongst a group of seven major technology corporations, says ranking website Piqqem. The company's score rose 2 percent during the month to reach 59 out of 100, easily beating second-place finisher Google, which grew its score by 4 percent to hit 49. HP came in third with 35; Cisco, Amazon, Intel and Microsoft represent the remaining businesses.
Microsoft attained a score of just 15, a growth of 1 percent, even then attributed by Piqqem to the popularity of Windows 7. Apple, Amazon and Google's advances are all linked to a "strong" technology run in the market. HP presented the most dramatic improvement with a leap of 7 percent, based on unexpectedly high earnings. As a whole, the technology group inched ahead 2.5 percent.
