ViewSonic MID gets Windows XP, 3G data connection

About two weeks after revealing a Windows XP-powered VCP08 smartphone, ViewSonic is now showing off a mobile Internet device (MID) with the same OS. While known specs are few, the device is known as the N01 and is believed to sport a touchscreen display sized at between six and seven inches. Processing power will come from a 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 processor, along with 1GB of RAM.

There is also 10GB of built-in storage capacity, and the device will have the ability to connect to 3G data networks. The device has a front- and rear-facing camera, and there is an optical mouse on the right side of the screen and two mouse buttons on the left side. A tuner and antenna receive digital TV broadcasts.

There is no indication of when or where the ViewSonic N01 will be released or what it will cost. [via Pocketables]
