LG Arena Max spotted at Wi-Fi Alliance

LG Arena Max gets Wi-Fi certification

What is believed to be the successor to the touchscreen-equipped LG Arena has been spotted (PDF) passing testing at the Wi-Fi Alliance. Little is known about the LG Arena Max LU9400, other than that it will have Wi-Fi capability. It will also presumably retain the touchscreen interface, though it isn't likely to have a smartphone-grade operating system such as Windows Mobile or Android.

As the original Arena has a 5-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal storage and a microSDHC memory card, along with GPS and Wi-Fi capabilities, these are also expected to at least carry over to the upcoming Arena Max or receive upgrades. Both a shipping date and the pricing for the LG Arena Max remain unknown.[via Unwired View]
