Epson intros PowerLite 1830 and 1915

Epson on Tuesday catered to its bread-and-butter audience of meeting rooms and mid-size classrooms with a pair of 3LCD projectors. The PowerLite 1830 and PowerLite 1915 both have relatively high brightness levels of 3,500 and 4,000 lumens respectively. They also both output at 1024x768 and carry dual VGA inputs as well as Ethernet jacks for remote control and USB to play directly from a Windows PC.

The 1830 is the core model and counts RCA and S-video input, as well as a 10W speaker system, as its only extra distinguishing traits. Choosing the 1915 adds HDMI input as well as 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi to get its data in harder-to-reach areas.

Both projectors are already shipping. Epson prices the 1830 at $1,349 and asks $1,899 for the higher-end 1915 model.
