Championship Manager 2010 adds Season Live event updates

Soccer management simulation game


Virtual Programming has announced Championship Manager 2010, an update to its soccer management simulator. The game features an improved match engine, with over 500 different animations for individual players. Users can record and replay matches using up to seven different camera angles. The game integrates a scouting network that provides a list of upcoming stars, along with a drill training area where users can compare potential players in a series of tests such as shooting and passing.

New to the Championship Manager series is CM Season Live, a downloadable update that provides all the latest events of the soccer season. The feature places players at key moments within the season. Also new is a set piece creator which can be used to manage and create set pieces, allowing players to fine tuning every step of the game from passing direction to defense coordination

The update also offers a revamped display window, real media references and news broadcasts to help managers stay a head of the game. Users can access a detailed post-match analysis of players, providing full stats on both teams and data for passes, runs, and shots.

Championship Manager 2010 requires Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later and is available directly from the company for $40.
