Boot Camp download fixes optical audio issue

Apple on Thursday released an update to its Server Admin utility for Snow Leopard Server, as well as Boot Camp drivers for Windows. Server Admin tools 10.6.2 includes the latest releases of iCal Server Utility, Podcast Composer, Server Admin, Server Monitor, Server Preferences, System Image Utility, Workgroup Manager, and Xgrid Admin.

Server Admin offers improved stability and correct reporting of DHCP status, while Netboot/Netintall model filters are available for the latest Macs introduced last month. Server Assistant now enforces LOM password length requirements during setup. The general usability of Server Preferences has also been improved, with bug fixes for file sharing and management of users or groups.

Boot Camp Drivers Update 2.2 is geared for Macs running Windows XP, Vista, or 7. The update addresses an issue an issue that had caused the optical audio to be interrupted when the trackpad turns off. The latest version also extends support for the company's Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard.

Both downloads are available through Software Update or directly from Apple's Support page. [Server Admin Tools - 241MB] [Boot Camp Drivers - 24MB]

Hopefully this will address the BSOD i've been having with Win 7. I think it has something to do with the bluetooth keyboard. If it is inactive too long, and you hit a key it would BSOD.

    I'll find out tonight!
