Prizmo 1.2 adds scanner integration with Snow Leopard

Creaceed has introduced Prizmo 1.2, a new version of its Mac OCR software for users with digital cameras. The program supports up to 10 different languages such as English, Swedish and German, and provides tools for scanning images, customizing text recognition, and selecting different filetypes when saving.
Version 1.2 supports integration with the most current scanners when used with Snow Leopard, eliminating the need to install custom software. Prizmo is currently priced at $40, with a 50 percent educational discount applicable to teachers or students. A free demo can be downloaded from the Creaceed website.
