Some crash, Dock issues eliminated
Yesterday's Mac OS X 10.6.2 update has also solved some problems related to Photoshop, says Adobe product manager John Nack. The fixes are noted to have been tested with help from Apple, and target problems such as application crashes when opening or saving files. Similarly, crashes and program errors should no longer occur when using the Menlo font, in Premiere as well as in Photoshop.
Images should now open properly when dragged to the Dock icon, including multiple selections and files taken from Safari. Some fixes particular to Photoshop CS4 include proper cursor display, and more reliable editing when launching from the 64-bit version of Lightroom in Snow Leopard. The v10.6.2 update comes in varying sizes and is being distributed through Software Update and Apple's website.

PhotoShop CS4 consistently crashes upon exit & has done so since the CS4 package was installed on our MacPro Nehalem workstation several months ago. Plenty of ram and OS updates along the way. The entire CS4 package has been reinstalled from scratch, with the same results. Never any response from Adobe after submission of the crash reports. It works OK in use, but every time uit is picked to exit the app - crash occurs. Other products in the CS4 suite work OK.
