New APA and MLA reference styles now supported
Malkinware has launched v1.5 of its reference manager and research utility, Reference Tracker. The software enables users to track all citations and references within essays or books, while creating a reference list that can be accessed whenever necessary. The latest version features improved accuracy for the formatted reference list importer. Bug fixes also deal with changes to the “Page Numbers” fields not immediately being recorded, along with newspaper articles not formatting correctly within the APA style.
Support has been included for both the APA 6th Edition and MLA 7th Edition reference styles. A new feature adds the current date to the “Date Accessed” field, which works as a default on new supporting publications.
Reference Tracker 1.5 works with Mac OS X 10.4 or higher, and is a free upgrade for all existing 1.1 customers. New users can buy the program directly from the Malkinware website for $45, or download a fully-functional 21-day free trial. Student and Educational discounts are also offered for $30.
