Build 10C540 seeded to developers
Apple's latest Mac OS X 10.6.2 beta, build 10C540, reportedly includes a wide variety of new bug fixes for software and hardware issues, according to AppleInsider. The software addresses problems with graphics drivers, AirPort performance on the new iMacs, and the latest VMWare Fusion virtualization software.
Other bug fixes relate to USB panic issue and compatibility with certain video cards. The update is also said to prevent a problem when connecting a Mac to Apple TV.
It is unclear if the build addresses the recent Flash video playback problems reported by users on Apple's Support forums. Support for Intel's Atom processors had caused confusion, as the initial beta releases were incompatible. The recent 10C535 build, however, brings back support for the netbook components.
