Noise Buster now works with Adobe Elements, CS4
AKVIS has announced a new version of its photo enhancement tool, Noise Buster 7.0. The application is designed to remove noise in the color and luminance layers of images, both separately and together. The upgrade delivers a series of new features including support for Adobe Photoshop Elements 8, 64-bit Adobe Photoshop CS4, and Snow Leopard, as well as improvements to both the noise reduction algorithm and interface. Bug fixes have also been added for both the Mac and Windows versions.
Additionally, users should find the preview window in the before and after tabs now simpler to work with, as well as other enhancements which were made to the program documentation and the print dialog box within the standalone version. The automatic filtration now makes adjustments for more specific kinds of noise, which are based on four different noise suppression parameters. Lastly, the app also enables users to choose both a printer and its resolution, when developing images.
Noise Buster 7.0 is available as both a standalone program, as well as a plug-in version which offers a batch mode and is compatible with Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Corel Photo-Paint, or other major image editing applications. The latest version works with any Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and is a free upgrade to all currently registered users. New customers can buy the app for $50, or get it in a bundle with AKVIS Enhancer for $84.
