Site said to be ready ahead of schedule
Despite earlier reports suggesting the Carousel de Louvre Apple Store would be ready by November 15th, the French site macgeneration now claims the grand opening is scheduled for November 7th. Sources allege the company will provide official details by Friday, including a partnership with the nearest Starbucks to provide free coffee for early birds waiting in line.
The Louvre building is nestled in the shopping center adjacent to the famous museum. Customers will be able to view products on the first floor, which includes a dedicated iPhone area, while the upper level focuses on services, according to Le Monde.
The sources suggest Apple will debut another location in Montpellier on the same day or shortly thereafter, although the flagship Louvre store will be the highlighted opening.
