Scrapped robot saves girlfriend
Macgamestore.com has published Amanita's Machinarium, a point-and-click adventure game set in a world populated by robots. Players find themselves in the game's title city, guiding a robot trying to making it out of the scrapyard to save his robot girlfriend and confront the Black Cap Brotherhood.
Gamers encounter numerous quests, logic puzzles and mini-games paired with a hand-drawn 2D backdrop. The pace of the game is designed to be swift, avoiding long dialog sequences by having characters communicate through simple animations, and symbols in comic bubbles.
Machinarium requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and a 1.8GHz processor. It is currently available for $20.
