updated 04:35 pm EDT, Tue October 27, 2009

Includes Snow Leopard info

Open Door Networks has announced a set of upgrades for its DoorStop line of Internet security apps. At the center is DoorStop X Security Suite 2.3, which consists of an updated DoorStop X Firewall, Who’s There? Firewall Advisor, and the e-book Internet Security for Your Macintosh and iPhone. The suite has been expanded to include a Twitter stream, a series of bugfixes, and iPhone support in the integrated isfym.com blog.

Other new features include information and advice on Snow Leopard, as well as a full chapter in the e-book on security for the iPhone and iPod touch. Software support has been added for non-administrative user accounts, and Who’s There has improved its geolocation service.

All applications are compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later, and range in price from $10 to $50 individually, or $80 for the full Security Suite. People who have bought any product prior to August 28, 2009 can upgrade to the suite for $50. Volume and educational discounts are available for some products, while all programs have 30-day trial versions.
