TrayStation raises laptop, improves ventalation
Macessity has introduced TrayStation, a new laptop riser that has been added to the company's line of computer accessories. TrayStation consists of both a heavy steel base-station coated in aluminum, and a 5mm clear acrylic tray which raises the laptop approximately 6 inches and is designed to help reduce strain on the eyes and back. The stand provides four non-skid feet which prevent it from sliding on furniture, along with four latches at the top which secure the tray in place.
The tray itself can be used either with the base or as a standalone riser, while working to keep the laptop cool by ventilating hot air and minimizing contact with the hot base of the laptop. The accessory is also said to support all new and old MacBook models.
TrayStation is currently available for pre-order for $55. Users can also purchase extra trays which are priced at $25 for one or $45 for two.

We're in a recession, likely a depression, and this has about $4 of material to it. Reduce the price.

Poor Heat Dissipation

The base looks like Apple's iMac and display bases, not exactly original. The acrylic tray will do zero to help dissipate heat from a MacBook Pro.
