SleeveCase, Natural Linen sleeves for MacBooks
Wrappers and WaterField Designs have announced new laptop sleeves, the custom-fitted SleeveCase and Natural Linen series, for Apple’s unibody MacBooks. The SleeveCase, which is made by WaterField, is designed for 13.3-inch MacBooks and features a ballistic nylon outer shell, 6mm neoprene interior for increased shock resistance, and a small flap across the middle to keep the laptop in place. It is TSA compliant for traveling through airports, while a bottom loop is designed to help users pull the notebook out of the case.
The SleeveCase is capable of fitting into the company’s Muzettom Cargo, Cozmo or VertiGo bags, while also working as a standalone case by attaching a strap to the sleeve. WaterField Designs is also offering its 13-inch Racer-X and HardCase laptop bags, along with the Suede Jacket Sleeve for the unibody MacBook.
The Natural Linen sleeves, geared for 13-inch devices, feature a waterproof microfiber lining and a peach-skin texture exterior for a smooth feel. An internal flap holds the laptop in place, eliminating the need for zippers. The sleeves come in 12 different colors including white, beige, pink, blue, orange, purple, black and turquoise.
Both cases can be found online, with the SleeveCase priced at $40 and the Natural Linen sleeves each commanding $36. Accessories and add-on bags for the SleeveCase start at $18 for the shoulder strap and go up to $230 for the bags.
