Sente 6 improves syncing multiple libraries

Third Street Software has released an update to its software for academic-reference management and file organization, Sente 6. The application delivers tools for creating and maintaining libraries containing PDF files, with options to search and sync content. With the latest version, maintaining multiple copies of a reference library and assigning tags have both been simplified. A new PDF Markup command has been added, while the program now supports hundreds of additional Bibliography formats.

Users can now maintain several copies of both reference libraries and PDF files on multiple computers, enabling permission configuration on each file to be shared with other users. Tag improvements allow users to arrange tags hierarchically, in order to help improve file management.

The new PDF Markup command can be used to highlight either passages or regions in a PDF file. Each change is synchronized, along with the entire PDF, to maintain the same features between each file in a library.

Sente 6 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher and is priced at $130 per single-user license, or $90 for an academic license. A free 30-day demo is also available for download, while upgrades from Sente 5 are priced at $40.

    You won't regret buying it

I am a satisfied user. The developers are responsive, and this is great software for academics in all areas.
