PDF2Office for iWork converter to ship in November

updated 08:35 pm EDT, Thu October 15, 2009

App retains layout, recovers paragraphs, graphics

Recosoft has launched a new PDF converter, PDF2Office, for iWork '08 and '09. The software converts PDF files by changing each page to an equivalent format for either Keynote or Pages. It recreates paragraphs, reconstructs tables and can regroup independent graphical elements. The utility also retains most layout elements of the original PDF.

Pricing has not been announced, as the product will not ship until November. When it ships, it will be available as single-user, family pack or SOHO configurations.

Oh man I hope this works

I've been after something like this for a while now.

If it works I will definitely be purchasing.

So far OCR on the Mac is pretty abysmal so if this works like it says it does and it works with minimal editing this will be a massive boon.
