Windows 7 convertible tablet from Acer due?

A recent leak reveals Acer may soon release a version of its Timeline 1810T notebook that has a double-hinged and rotating screen as well as a multi-touch screen. To be called the Timeline 1820T, the upcoming notebook would depend on Windows 7 for touch features and is expected to use an 11.6-inch, 1366x768 display. The same Intel CULV 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo CPU and 2GB of RAM should also be carried over from the original Timeline.

The new notebook will be roughly two-thirds of a pound heavier than the 1810T thanks to the inclusion of a stylus and the swiveling capability. Other specs of the Timeline 1810T are also expected to translate directly, including Wi-Fi, an HDMI output, an optical audio connection and a gigabit Ethernet port. A 3G data network connection and Bluetooth 2.1 will be optional. Battery life for the 1810T was rated at eight hours, and it should be similar in the 1820T.

There is no indication of a launch date or pricing range for the Timeline 1820T. [via SlashGear]
