Includes infinite, randomly-generated maps
Developer baKno has launched a new racing game, Island Racer. The title is described as for casual audiences, but with solo, AI and online racing modes. It uses randomly-generated tracks with on- and off-road options, as well as a variety of cars and car colors.
During a race, players can crash into each other in order to gain an edge. Island Racer is available as a $20 download, or else through baKno's subscription service. The game runs on Mac OS X 10.2 or higher, including Snow Leopard, and can be played cross-platform with Windows users.
