PDF Checkpoint app with batch processing
Zevrix Soltuions has released the PDF Checkpoint, a new PDF workflow automation tool with batch processing capabilities. The app allows users to preflight multiple PDF files and retrieve detailed information on documents fonts, color paces, attributes and images. PDF Checkpoint delivers drag-and-drop capabilities for files, and provides automatic moving or copying of files to specific folders after preflighting. Additionally, the software includes functions for exporting PDF pages as images, or splitting files into single page PDF documents.
With the exporting feature users can batch export pages as various image formats including TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF or BMP, as well as have the ability to choose the specific image resolution and page scale. When dealing with PDF files the program comes with a splitting function that separates multiple PDF files into single PDF page documents, and provides an option for only processing files that had successfully passed preflight.
PDF Checkpoint requires Mac OS X 10.4.2 or later to run and is available to purchase for an introductory price of $80.
