TeamViewer enhances QuickSupport, messaging
TeamViewer has added enhanced instant messaging and customized TeamViewer QuickSupport to its cross-platform desktop-sharing software. TeamViewer V4 now features group chat with multiple partners for sharing files and information, along with status updates, and the ability to log on and receive messages that had been sent while the user was away.
Companies using the Mac can also take part in the TeamViewer’s Custom QuickSupport tool, which enables businesses to incorporate logos, colors and individual text, when accessing other computers using TeamViewer QuickSupport. Each version of the software features cross-platform support and works with both the Mac OS X and PCs.
TeamViewer V4 is available in three different lifetime licenses, with prices ranging from $700 for the Business, $1400 for the Premium, and $2600 for the Corporate. A free-trial version can also be downloaded directly from the company’s website.
