Winnipeg Apple Store to launch on Saturday

Will expand Canadian metropolitan coverage
The first Apple Store in Winnipeg, Manitoba is set to launch at 10AM this Saturday, Apple has announced. The shop is located inside of the Polo Park Shopping Centre at 1485 Portage Avenue, on the intersection with St. James Street. Regular Monday-to-Friday hours are 10AM to 9PM; Saturday hours are 9:30AM to 6PM, and on Sunday, the shop is open from just 12 to 6PM.
Relative to the United States, Canada has a distinctly small number of Apple Stores. There are only 16 for a population of over 33 million, a full five of which are situated in the Toronto and Mississauga area. Several Canadian provinces -- including Manitoba -- have long been without any Apple Store.
Also launching on September 19th is the American Augusta, Georgia Apple Store.

Thought I was alone in deriding these cowardly fools.
Their sheer stupidity is almost humorous.
The good news here is that Apple continues to grow and expand--even into Canada! ;-)

Apple says there are 13 stores in Canada, and that includes Winnipeg.

I wasn't born there though, so I can understand your obvious defensiveness and embarrassment.
