Nav app customizes route based on traffic flow

(Updated with ETA) NAVIGON has expanded its MobileNavigator iPhone app to include an option for the company's Traffic Live feature. The system is claimed to optimize routes based on real-time traffic information and historic data. Real-time data is taken from over one million drivers, including commercial vehicles and regular drivers, to determine congested areas that should be avoided.

The historic data is used to predict the best route for a particular location and time of day, with adjustments made when the route is first calculated. The system also utilizes other sources of traffic data such as traffic cameras, speed sensors and traffic messages transmitted over the radio network.

As a problem approaches, users receive instant on-screen alerts, displayed as iconic warnings, that indicate trouble ahead. The app interface is capable of providing detailed information such as the severity of the situation and even the average speed of traffic flow.

Traffic Live can be added to MobileNavigator as an in-app purchase with an introductory price of $20, while the price will be raised to $25 after four weeks. After the initial purchase, the function will continue to be supported without any additional month-to-month fees. For customers that do not yet have the navigation app, MobileNavigator is available from the App Store for $90.

Update: The Traffic Live feature is expected to become active in October. MacNN apologizes for any confusion.

My question is if I buy the Live Traffic on my iPhone, does the live Traffic also then work on the App on my other two iPhones in the family?

Or does a person need to buy Live Traffic for each iPhone?

    In-app Purchase?

I can't seem to locate in NAVIGON 1.2 where I can make the purchase. Any ideas?

    Doesn't exist?

I have the latest version of the America/Canida Navigon, I checked for updates... no update available. There is simply no place I can find in the software that allows any sort of in-app download or link to the traffic software. Is this only available in the European version or something? I don't get it.
