Available for Leopard, Snow Leopard
Apple is distributing a collection of v2.2 updates for Xsan, its SAN (storage-area network) management software. These include patches for the administrative component, in both Leopard and Snow Leopard varieties. Each corrects similar flaws, in areas such as listing computers connected to a SAN, or displaying when LUNs have been truncated.
Also addressed are a privacy vulnerability in screensharing, and problems with using the SAN Setup Assistant to configure volumes, LUNs and affinities. Separately, the FileSystem Update for 10.6 copes with using native extended attributes, plus 64-bit support in Snow Leopard and Snow Leopard Server. Performance and reliability have been improved with a particular emphasis on volume reliability in the middle of metadata controller failovers.
Matching the v2.2 patches are new installer and uninstaller downloads.
