Elixir launches new themes, Get Apps Done portal

In brief: Elixir has announced the immediate release of three new RapidWeaver themes along with three new bundle promotions. The Ultimate Bundle contains every theme available from Elixir at a price discounted by more than $250, while the Business and Blogger Bundles include eight themes each. Meanwhile, a new web portal has been launched with hopes of bringing companies and iPhone developers together. Get Apps Done provides a place where people with ideas for iPhone apps can come in search of a developer who can create the software.

Elixir has announced the release of three new RapidWeaver themes along with several new bundle promotions. Pinwheel is a new theme geared towards business sites, while Mini will appeal more to the blogging community. The Ultimate Bundle includes every theme released by Elixir, including the three new themes released earlier this week. Normally purchasing all of these themes separately would cost upwards of $320 but the bundle has been made available for only $53. In addition to the Ultimate Bundle, two smaller bundles have been made available. The Business Bundle and Blogging Bundle each consist of eight themes are are priced at $40 and $30 respectively. All of these offers will remain available until 8pm EST Friday.

A new web portal for designers and developers of iPhone applications has been launched by Davide Di Cillo of Thirtynine. Get Apps Done provides a location where companies or people with ideas can find iPhone developers who can turn those ideas into reality. According to Di Cillo's reasearch, iPhone and iPod touch users spend approximately $2.4 billion per year on applications. The problem with tapping into this market comes with the rarity of experienced iPhone developers. By helping ideas and developers meet Di Cillo hopes to improve the scope and quality of software found within the App Store.
