  • HoudahGeo 2.3 ($30) enables users to link photos to the location where they were taken, and supports writing that information to EXIF tags or publishing it to Google Earth. Users simply "pin" photos to their respective locations, and doesn't require a digital camera with built-in GPS capability or even a GPS device. The new release now fully supports viewing directions. The viewing direction can be added automatically from a compass enabled GPS or manually. A new German localization has also been added along side a new help book and other enhancements.   • 1Password 2.9.31 ($40) is a password management utility which allows users to safely store confidential information. The software includes different forms for adding various information such as credit cards, passwords, and identities. The new release includes support for Snow Leopard and has fixed an issue where having no keyboard shortcuts for Restore Login or Go & Fill would cause problems in the browser. [Download - 11.7MB]

  • Bean 2.4 (free) is a basic word processor that offers more simplicity that larger programs but more features than basic text editors. The software includes a live word count an an Inspector panel with various formatting options. Bean also features auto-saving, a page layout mode, a gloating windows option, and an option for showing invisible characters. Version 2.4 includes new options for changing the behaviour of the text cursor and for choosing which content to print. The update also includes a new head type, several interface tweaks, and a list of bug fixes. [Download - 3.8MB]

  • TapeDeck 1.2 ($25) is an audio recording application designed to look and act like a classic tape recorder. With a single click audio can be recorded as compressed MP4-AAC files. The v1.2 update allows users to choose the record and playback devices used by TapeDeck in the preferences. The ability to reveal the tape library has also been added along with various bug fixes and enhancements. [Download - 2.3MB]

  • Disc Cover 2.3.2 ($35) helps users create CD and DVD labels, covers, tray inserts, folding booklets, and more. The application includes over 250 professionally made designs that users can customize with their own images or with some of the included images. The incremental update brings no new features but adds support for Mac OS X 10.6. [Download - 51.1MB]

      1Password

      1Password 2 doesn't work with Snow Leopard. Their beta of 1Password 3 does work but it disables syncing with MobileMe. Not a good effort.
