Canon EOS-7D's video to get 60FPS, editing?

Canon EOS 7D Video Leak

Just hours ahead of the expected official launch of the Canon EOS-7D, final details and even an apparent press release have surfaced that now not only confirm details of the DSLR but expand on its video capabilities. Unlike even the EOS-5D Mark II, the 7D is now expected by Neutralday to support recording 720p video at 60 frames per second (50 in some areas) and produce much more fluid video. It's still claimed to be supporting 1080p at 30 frames per second and will also reportedly get basic in-camera editing.

The 7D is still set to challenge Nikon's D300s and should have a crop-frame but very dense 18-megapixel sensor, 8FPS burst shooting for up to 15 RAW shots thanks to dual processors, and sensitivity coverage from between ISO 100 to 12,800 when using extended modes. Shooting will also get more precise with 19-point autofocusing, 63 metering zones and a new digital level for horizon-dependent shots.

Prices are still unconfirmed but could involve as little as $1,699 for a body-only version. The 15-85mm and 18-135mm lenses from before have also been corroborated and should be joined by a 100mm L series macro lens.
