USBfever iPhone battery adds second SIM card slot

updated 10:05 pm EDT, Sun August 30, 2009

USBfever ships new battery

USBfever has launched its latest iPhone accessory, an external battery featuring an integrated adapter for two SIM cards. The dual card capability is geared towards iPhone users that may need to switch phone companies when traveling between countries. The battery doubles as an iPhone case, while allowing users to sync the device without removing the battery.

The case integrates LED status indicators and a hidden USB cable for recharging both the internal and external batteries. USBFever claims the 1900mAh cells provide several additional days of standby time.

The new case works with the iPhone 3G or 3GS and can be purchased for $60.
