Palm Eos, Pre at Verizon?

A series of Verizon inventory screen captures reveals the wireless provider will soon receive a range of smartphones from Palm, RIM, HTC and Samsung. Two Palm devices, called P101 and P121 in Verizon's inventory, are likely to be the Pre and the Eos, suggesting the carrier is already preparing both to be the second CDMA carrier with the Pre and that it will have a second model as well. When the Pre arrives, Verizon will be just the third carrier to offer the handset, after Sprint and Canada's Bell.

Despite the inventory leaks, actual shipping dates for the two devices at Verizon remain unknown. Sprint's exclusive on the Pre is believed to last until the end of 2009, but no such deal exists for the Eos. It may ship in the fall and could ship near an AT&T version.

At the same time, the BlackBerry 9550, expected to replace the Storm, has also been spotted in the same Verizon. HTC's Touch Pro2 has similar appeared and appears to carry the XV6875 badge, while Samsung's Omnia II and Convoy U640 round out the list.

Verizon's prices for any of these handsets, like their ship dates, remain a mystery. [via PhoneArena]
