NRU 1.0, ODBC Admin Tool
Although the operating system has only just been released, Apple has already posted two networking-related updates for Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The first, Network Registration Update 1.0, is specifically intended for Snow Leopard Server. It is a 24.8MB download, and fixes a problem with duplicate serial number alerts on servers using multiple interfaces.
The ODBC Administrator Tool is aimed at Snow Leopard as a whole, and lets users run database administration for ODBC-compliant data sources. Apple cites features such as connection pooling, trace logs and driver management. The software is a 5MB download, but currently available only in English.

thing is... most server admins probably aren't going to be running 10.6 Server on day one.
more importantly though... this problem started in the 10.5.8 update which people actually ARE RUNNING and Apple has not posted an update or patch for the system that is actually affecting actual people.
