MathMagic PE 6.5 released

InfoLogic has released MathMagic Personal Edition 6.5, with enhanced CMYK support, including spot color separations. The update also adds automatic installation of math symbol fonts and default preference settings. The equation editor has a new fixed height option in the fence alignment dialog, and new controls for nested horizontal bars and fences. Bugfixes address a variety of issues.

MathMagic PE works as a standalone utility for developing mathematical equations for use with word processing, presentation or graphics applications. It reads various formats, including MathML and LaTeX. Version 6.5 requires Mac OS X 10.4, and costs $70 under a regular license, or $50 under an academic one.
