FlightCheck Pro updates for CS4, QuarkXPress 8

FlightCheck Pro 6.5 update
Markzware has released a v6.5 update for FlightCheck Professional, its specialized preflighting tool. The software scrutinizes output documents for problems that could potentially affect the print process, such as trapping, overprinting and mismatched color spaces. The app then flags source issues, which can be corrected through a separate publishing suite.
The v6.5 update introduces support for CS4 and QuarkXPress 8 formats, in addition to earlier Adobe, Quark, Corel and Microsoft filetypes, and more generic document formats such as EPS, TIFF and PDF. The Mac software costs $399 new, or $99 as an upgrade from FlightCheck Professional 5.x. An upgrade from FlightCheck Designer costs $129. Mac OS X 10.4 and 2GB of RAM are required.
