Yahoo enhances services

Yahoo has enhanced both its Search results page and Yahoo Messenger, and has optimized its Yahoo Mail webpage for use with the iPhone. The latest version of Yahoo Mail allows users to manage their email via HTML mobile browsers, including Safari for the iPhone. The new web application additionally features improved photo sharing capabilities, new apps and added social networking and Application Box tools.

Yahoo Messenger 10, an instant messaging service, includes various additions such as an Updates Tab, a new Yahoo Insider, more languages to select from and an enhanced iPhone App. The new Yahoo Search webpage includes new filtering tools to narrow a users search results and Intelligent Search capabilities that make more personally relevant search results. An expanded Search Assist utility has been added to the search box.
