New NYC, Hamburg stores
Apple has picked out an area for its latest New York City store, according to the company's retail chief, Ron Johnson. Speculated for some time, the shop will open later this year in the upper West Side of Manhattan, joining three other stores on the island including the famous Fifth Avenue flagship outlet. No specific building site has been announced, but some rumors have proposed that it could be established near Lincoln Center, or possibly within the Time Warner Center, which is already home to a number of luxury-oriented businesses.
A 67th and Broadway site is thought to be the most likely, due to past rumors, and the recent construction of a glass cube structure. The Fifth Avenue Apple Store has become iconic for a similar architectural style.
The company has meanwhile confirmed a third store opening for Saturday, across the Atlantic in Hamburg, Germany. The shop is situated on the ground floor of the Alstertal-Einkaufszentrum commercial center, and will throw open its doors at 10AM local time, in keeping with most Apple Store launches. Some 2,500 t-shirts will be given away to the first wave of visitors.

Old Victoria's Secret
It's pretty well known that the construction at Broadway & 67th, where Victoria's Secret used to be, will be the new Apple store. It already has a big glass cube in place.
