Nokia 5800 Nav Edition

Nokia today seized on the the 5800 XpressMusic's relative popularity and launched the 5800 Navigation Edition. The new version appears aimed to counter the rise of iPhone turn-by-turn GPS apps by giving owners unlimited subscriptions to Ovi Maps for both car-based and pedestrian navigation. Accessories in the pack are also intended to get the phone ready for driving with a car charger and a mounting kit.

The touchscreen smartphone is otherwise identical with a 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G and Wi-Fi with a microSDHC slot handling the bulk of storage; an 8GB card comes in the box. Getting the perpetual GPS service boosts the price of the Navigation Edition to 285 ($407) before factoring in carrier discounts. A version will ship with US-capable 3G, but Nokia so far claims it's intended for Latin American countries.
