QuickHelp 4.0 released
Excel has released v4.0 of QuickHelp, used to author and deploy application help to almost all operating platforms including Windows 95 to XP, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Linux. The latest version adds Unicode text to support any human language and a Merge Help tool that helps to combine help files. The update also features a Convert Language tool that is used to author a help system for multiple human languages.
Help topics can be formatted with fonts, colors, images, lists, tables and actions. The application's actions can add conditional hyperlinks, launch other software, open web pages, play movies, run COM methods, run AppleScripts and past text into the clipboard. The program automatically maintains the table of contents, index, search capabilities and link management.
OuickHelp requires Mac OS X 10.1 and can be purchased from the Excel online store for $400.
