Claro Layout InDesign plug-in offers correction tools

Claro Layout for InDesign

Elpical has introduced Claro Layout, a plug-in for InDesign that provides tools for image enhancement and correction. The utility automatically runs quality analysis and then makes the necessary adjustments. Users can integrate RGB images during layout, and then optimize the content without leaving InDesign.

The plug-in utilizes ICC color conversions and profile assignment, while looking for parameters such as sharpness, brightness, contrast, color balance, natural greens, skin tones and exit information. The images are individually analyzed and adjusted, helping to protect against unnecessary or undesirable changes.

Claro Layout is still in the public beta stage of development. Those interested in participating in the testing phase can contact the company.
