BackPack for iMac ships
Twelve South has launched BackPack, an adjustable shelf for iMacs and Cinema Displays. The shelf, made of heavy-gage steel, is sized to hold hard disks and other small accessories. It works using adjustable clips and rests on the iMac's stand using gravity to hold it in place to avoid scratching the stand's surface. More than one BackPack can be used on one machine by setting each to different heights on the stand.
The BackPack has a perforated base and comes with stand clips, a non-slip shelf pad and a security cable tie. It weighs less than a pound and has a five-pound maximum capacity. The BackPack fits on all iMacs and Cinema displays that use an L-shaped desk stand.
The BackPack is available exclusively at the Apple Store and costs $30. A BackPack six-pack is also available for $150.

Expensive

I'd say that $30 for 15 cents worth of steal and plastic is a little high for my tastes.

Too Much

I would have to agree with the pricing. The six pack is nice for a lab, but I would pay more than $20 per unit and $15 in bulk.
